The perfect base camp for your outdoor adventure! Lace up your hiking boots, bring your fishing poles, kayaks, and your bows. Surrounded by Wayne national forest and just a mile from the lake, close to thousands of acres of public hunting. Come and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Southern Ohio. The beach is just down the street as well as dock 4 and Wildcat Hollow. 30 minutes to Athens, 56 minutes to Hocking hills state park. This property has a private porch to relax and listen to the birds and turkeys, watch the occasional deer and take in the fresh air. Out front you will find a fire pit for roasting marshmallows or having a cold drink after a long day of exploring. Inside there are three bedrooms and two full baths with a full eat in kitchen as well as zoned heating and cooling in the bedrooms. If you’re looking to unwind and relax this is your spot. There is no WiFi at the cabin but that is one of our favorite parts, its easy to unplug if its not at your finger tips! Cell phone service is available all carriers we have tried. We have a few hundred DVD's for movie night . Come and see! Please be descriptive if you request a stay. If you send me a blank request with no details it will delay or exclude your approval. We have had guest be very deceptive in their intention of staying at our home. We love hosting but also feel no pressure to rent out our space!
