It's 1.2 miles to old town and goes all the way south to Mesa and north to McCormick ranch. On the way to old town you pass the library and the civic center. The civic center has out door concerts and events throughout the year as well as performing arts and a modern art museum.
2 blocks from Scottsdale stadium for the Giants spring training and the Scottsdale scorpions for fall baseball.
Chappell park is an awesome off leash park for dogs a couple miles away.
