Private Community Beach. The cottage is freshly painted and has: lovely hardwood floors, a romantic fireplace, stainless steel appliances, modern granite kitchen, & seasonal mountain views off the decks. The decks have outdoor furniture & a new fire pit for entertaining. It is also conveniently located, being: 1.5 hours from NYC, 15 minutes from Pawling NY Train Station & 20 minutes from Brewster train Station; & for traveling medical professionals we are 18 miles from Danbury Hospital. The cottage has tasteful decor and a nature lovers exterior overlooking a lushly forested 2 1/2 acres on a town designated "Scenic Road" populated with farms, horses, a miniature donkey, and periodically grazing cows. A true serene rustic escape with access to our Private BEACH only 5 minutes from the cottage, a bike ride away (with f/t Lifeguard). Sherman includes and is surrounded by numerous hiking trails, community theaters, farm stands, wineries and an incredible outdoor flea market. (also w/n driving distance of ski resorts).
