For larger groups, there are 2 additional twin BR that share BA with two of the queen rooms for an added fee of $200 per room per night. Wide, covered front and back porches. 1 hour 15 minutes from Washington DC; 10 minutes from Middleburg. Horse venues, wineries, Shenandoah National Park nearby. Children and pets welcome. National Register of Historic Places, Virginia Historic Landmark. Welbourne has been described as a "step back in time" and having an air of "faded elegance." It is our home, not a museum, although it is full of family heirlooms and antiques. Guests have use of all common rooms - Parlour, Library, Dining Room, Music Room, front and back porches and kitchen. There are 520 acres on which to roam, featuring gardens with seating areas, retired horses, woods, fields and creeks. Relax on the porch, read one of our 10,000 books of all genres, read about the colorful local history, take a walk on the farm. We have high-speed fiber Wi-fi. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome with prior approval.
