Summary: This was a 3 night stay at Eagles Nest. We arrived around 5:00pm. Noticed A/C not blowing. Text host Judy. Shane came out within 15 minutes. He called Diamond City A/C company and their Techs stayed until repaired. We want to thank them for staying very late (after 10:00pm) and repairing the unit. Both were very professional. Host Judy did offer another cabin for us to use for that night if needed. Cabin was very clean and had a great layout. We had 4 adults and 4 dogs (2 large and 2 small). Plenty of room for everyone. Nice and clean outside with an area of grass for dogs to play. Cabin had a great wrap around deck with 2 stairs cases for entry. Nice long stairs to get to the dock area at the river. Water was low so it had a drop off and we didn’t let our dogs in the water. Not sure how they would get out. It would have been nice to have a set of stairs or ramp to access water when low. 1 dog 105# and other 88#. Other 2 were Dachshunds. Easy access to surrounding areas like Crater of Diamonds. Glenwood for kayaking. Murfreesboro was clean and easy to get around. Nice shops around the circle. Good breakfast at Terri’s restaurant not so good dinner and flys everywhere. Now if you want good food and excellent service go to Telinga’s Mexican restaurant. They had the fastest and greatest service we have ever seen. Even the Sonic had good food and nice people. Overall we will return for another pleasant stay.
