Positive: It was very quiet. There are lots of places to eat within a block of the location. Bus route on neighboring street. Subway entrance about 5 blocks away. Lots of little extras like water, lotion, etc. The room was cozy & bed was comfortable. The owner worked with me when I had a problem with the door and checked on me during my stay

Negative: The door! It took 2 hours to figure out the exact way to twist the key and turn the knob to get in. The bathroom was dated, the tub specifically needs to be repaired. No overhead light or stove (not that big of a deal since I wasn't in the room much). Ran out of toilet paper, no extra.

Summary: A nice, but typical NYC apartment
