Within close proximity to popular and historic NY towns such as Kingston, Woodstock and Stone Ridge, as well as ski mountains at Belleayre and Hunter, and just two hours from NYC, making this the perfect, secluded, four season retreat.
The space
The two bedrooms upstairs have queen beds, brand new linens, built-in closets and whisper-quiet heating and air-conditioning. The shared bathroom features a clawfoot tub.
Downstairs, the living room is a perfect place to read, play games and relax. The second living room (the "log room") features an original exposed log wall from 1790, as well as a wood-burning stove, double sofa bed and smart TV.
The fully-stocked chef's kitchen includes a 36" Wolf range, dishwasher and breakfast bar, and leads into the dining room that can seat eight people, and opens out onto the rear deck with view over the creek and orchard.
The house is historic, but fully renovated and newly furnished - combining original architectural details with state-of-the-art amenities, including:
