Beautiful, modern 3 bedroom + 3 bathroom home (with small owners apt below), located in the town of Ithaca with 3 full baths, accommodating 6 guests comfortably. Available by the week only, July 1st - August 31st. The property is situated on Cayuga Lake and offers gorgeous views from almost every room, especially the Master Bedroom. There are several decks from which to enjoy outdoor entertaining. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen and two grills (gas/charcoal) are provided, an old cast iron stove as a fire pit on one deck, along with a bonfire pit on the lawn. The house is fully winterized and has a large wood burning fireplace in the Living Room. There is 120 ft of beachfront and a large dock to enjoy the lake. It is approx 6’ deep off end of dock and swimming is fine, but with occasional lake weed. Located 2 miles from downtown Ithaca and 4 miles from Cornell. Very convenient for shopping, restaurants and the Hangar Theater.
There is a small caretakers apartment below that, if occupied, will only be by the owner and his small quiet dog. You’ll barely know he’s there, and will not share the dock while rented.

The house is centrally located to all the college campuses, wineries, trails for biking, hiking, and/or cross country skiing.
Please note that there are many steps. If you come down the paved driveway, it is only about 20 steps to the front door, but from street level there are another 35 steps or so. Then from the house down to the lake is another 50ish steps.
This is a quiet, lakefront community. Excessive use of alcohol, or loud noisy parties in the outdoor areas after 10:00 pm are prohibited and may result in loss of your security deposit.
