Boating isn't your thing? No problem! We are just minutes from shopping and restaurants in Rockville, the covered bridge festivals, and many great hunting spots.
Relax after your day of adventuring by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, chilling on our huge screened porch, or just kicked back in the recliners watching your favorite Netflix.
The cozy home has Queen beds in both of the bedrooms with a Queen air mattress available upon request.
All bed linens, pillows, and blankets are provided along with towels for both you and your furry friends.
Basic shampoo, conditioner, body wash is provided along with a small selection of cleaning and laundry supplies.
We provide a Keurig and French Press for coffee along with all of the accoutrements (pods, grounds, CoffeeMate, sugar, and Splenda).
There is a smart TV in the living room but no cable so please be prepared to stream from your personal accounts via our provided WiFi.
The home is heated and cooled by two separate ductless/mini split units (18,000 BTUs each), one in the living room and one in the Captain's Quarters with air flow into the Crew's Quarters.
We are a pet-friendly property and our dogs and cats come with us when we stay.
We love responsible pet owners so please make sure to pick up after your pet at all times. We can only continue to be a pet-friendly property if guests are respectful.
***Pet owners please note that while our yard is fully fenced it is not secure for smaller dogs due to its picket style with 4 inch gaps between the boards. Guests may want keep smaller dogs on a leash or use the tie out that’s provided.
Boaters please be advised that the Portland Mills launch is VERY shallow. Only 1.5-2 feet in most of the launch area. We launch out 22 foot pontoon regularly without issue and see lots of fishing boats using the ramp.
V-hull style boats should launch at one of the other nearby launches.
This is our vacation spot too and we use it regularly when it's not booked. As such, you may find some of our personal essentials onsite. Please e respectful of our personal items if you see them.
RV power hookup onsite!
We are local hosts living about 35 minutes and can be available if needed. Upon check in you will find a complete house manual with our cell phones near the top in the event you need immediate assistance during your stay.
