It is a private setting with the nearest neighbor about 250 feet away and barely visible through the trees. There is a large deck/porch off the south side of the house and a 10'x12' deck on the west side that is accessed from the living room.
The shore is reached by a stairway. At the top of the stair way is a small deck that is perfect for sitting and watching the lobster boats or enjoying a beautiful sunset. Guests can walk the rocky shore line for nearly a mile enjoying the sights and sounds along the tidal river and rarely encounter another person.
There is an open floor plan between the full kitchen and living room. A bedroom and a full bath and laundry room are also on the first floor. The living room has a cathedral ceiling and has great water views. The floors are a combination of hardwood and tile. Upstairs is a den/TV room. It also has a cathedral ceiling as well as a single bed.
The property is in a private setting but is still only a few miles to the areas major shopping areas. In less than 15 minutes guests can be in Rockland or at at the Owls Head Airport as well as many of the areas attractions.
