Positive: Loved the location. Easy walk to the beach and short drive to center of Bethany. Nice, large deck for happy hour before going out for dinner. Storage for beach chairs and paddle board and clothesline. Appeared to be clean. I always smell the spreads in a rental as I realize they usually do not get washed between renters. These smelled fresh and looked new. Water was hot and great pressure in the shower. Did not smell like dogs. Had not realized I booked a doghouse so was concerned about it smelling. there was no evidence of pets staying in the house.

Negative: Did not like the smell of the interior. Hit you as soon as you walked in. Not sure if it was musty, cleaning products or combination of both. Our clothes smelled like the apartment when we got home. We were only there for the weekend and did no cooking. It would have been nice to have wine glasses and cocktail glasses. Maybe too many beds in the 2 small bedrooms. I would imagine some would like that to cut the cost of the rental. We only had 3 but if 8 or 10 counting the sofa were in there with dogs it would be extremely uncomfortable.

Summary: Loved the location but wondering if a hotel would have been more economical for a weekend stay.
