OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
There are cameras on the exterior of the home. They are motion activated, record video and audio, and are active during reservations. There is also a decibel monitoring device located in the home. This is a smart device that measures decibel levels only and allows us to respond to extremely loud and sustained volumes. It does NOT record conversation, it only measures decibel levels. This helps us to avoid unauthorized parties. Our goal is for our guests and neighbors to both have an enjoyable experience!
**This entire home is yours to enjoy during your stay, offering you complete privacy and comfort. Please note that the detached garage on the property is reserved for the owner’s use and may be accessed during your visit. Rest assured, this will not affect your enjoyment of the space, as the garage is separate from the main living areas.

HOUSE RULES
- Please, no parking in front of the detached garage; only park in the carport.
- Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
- We (and the flowers!) would appreciate it if you could water the 3 small garden plants out front. There’s a hose and faucet on the right side of the house.
- Please leave bathroom doors open when not in use to help keep things dry.
- No smoking allowed (weed or cigarettes) - evidence will incur a $500 minimum fine. Please smoke away from the home away from windows or doors and dispose of cigarette butts properly.
- Any visitors must also be listed in the guest count. Minimum fine of $50 per person per night will apply for any undisclosed guests. The city is strict about maximum occupancy including visitors and we cannot allow more than the max guest count at any one time.
- Please observe a 9 p.m.- 8 a.m. quiet hour for our neighbors. They are our utmost priority to continue to operate short term rentals for years to come. Noise violations are taken seriously and will have one courtesy warning before removal without repayment for nights unspent.
- Our place is not for parties. $500 minimum fine for parties. A party is defined by any more than 8 occupants in the home at any one time. No refund will be given for nights unspent if we are forced to terminate the reservation due to a party. We want you to have a great time with up to 8 guests in the house maximum, including any visitors. This is a residential area and our neighbors rely on us not to disrupt the community. We want to continue to do short term rentals for a long time so please help us respect our neighbors.
- Please note while the home is cleaned very thoroughly between stays and air filters changed regularly, we do allow dogs at the home. Those with severe allergies will need to consider our home’s suitability for their unique needs.
- No refunds will be given for COVID-19 or weather related cancellations. Please consider purchasing trip insurance that covers any unforeseen circumstances. Please note during hurricane season our area is prone to inclement weather.
- $75 per hour charge for not checking out on time. Please communicate if you need more time, if we can accommodate we will not charge a fee.
- If our property has a grill, please clean after use to avoid an extra $75 grill cleaning charge.
- Ice makers are an extra amenity and no refunds will be given if they are not functioning properly.
- If equipment is used that would make the utilities charge become excessive, that will be charged back to the renter.
- Any cleaning or maintenance issues must be addressed to the host. We must be able to attempt to fix the issue before offering refunds. If an issue is not addressed during the stay, no refunds will be provided.
- Stays over 60 days will require a clean every 30 days included in your booking fee.
- An application, screening, signed lease and deposit is required for 90+ day rentals-please inquire for more details. Bookings over 90 days are brokered by Sojourn Realty.
- Please note that we do not do shoveling or snow removal. Use caution in case of these situations, as we are not to be held liable.
- Please do not place the trash cans at the curb. Our private waste service, Full Strut, will handle all pickups directly from the property. You may notice the cans are labeled as city property — this is because they were recently replaced, but they are now serviced by Full Strut. There's no need to move the cans — just place your bagged trash in them and leave them where they are.
- This home is not pet friendly, any undisclosed pets on the property will incur a $300 fine plus any damages or extra cleaning charges. We do ask that service animals are disclosed and emotional support animals need to have valid documentation prior to the start of stay.
