Longs Lake is a quiet, spring-fed, sandy bottom lake with a public boat launch conveniently located less than a km from the cottage. With 2 kayaks, a canoe and a SUP at your disposal, it's never been easier to get out on the water and explore the lake. For avid fishermen, the end of the lake has been declared a fish habitat by MNR and small-mouth bass, large-mouth bass, perch and sunfish are popular catches.

Arrowhead Provincial Park is nearby with summer and winter hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

About 2 hours north of Toronto. About a 5 minute drive to the village of Port Sydney, 15 minutes to Huntsville, 20 minutes to Arrowhead Provincial Park, 15 minutes to Bracebridge (Santa's Village), and 45-50 minutes to Algonquin Park.
