Summary: The property owners were terrific to work with through the entire process. The main house is an early 1800s farmhouse that has been lovingly cared for and updated, with four bedrooms upstairs. We love having a full bathroom indoors and also an outdoor shower, which was very comfortable also. The kitchen has a propane range, but we mostly cooked outside on the grill on the gorgeous patio. The mornings on the front porch with coffee and drinks and dinners on the patio by the pool and firepit were among our favorite parts of the stay. The second house has a common space downstairs and sleeps three upstairs with a modern bathroom. The property is on a dirt road, away from everything, just a perfect retreat. But we also loved being close to great Delaware River towns like Calicoon and Narrowsburg where we enjoyed farmers markets and lovely restaurants and also enjoyed dinner and ice cream in Honesdale. We hope to come back to the area and stay in this home again soon.
