Welcome to our beautiful paradise nestled in the trees and in a private cove on Lake Bowen! Comfortably accommodating 8 guests, it is equipped with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, 2 separate living areas, fully equipped kitchen and kitchenette, adjacent dining area, and an amazing wrap around deck (with a cozy fire-table), all surrounded by beautiful trees. There is also a covered lower patio and a beautiful sunken fire pit, perfect for hot chocolate and campfire s’mores. If you love nature, you will love staying here. Sitting on the back deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, you truly feel like you are in a treehouse.

The property is on Lake Bowen, with a peaceful cove and private dock. There is a freshwater stream and a peninsula to launch kayaks from as well. There are 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available for your to use. (The paddle boards have seats to convert to kayaks). The lake is 18 miles long and about a half mile across, and is often smooth as glass, perfect for a day of exploring the beautiful lake. We also have a 6-person pontoon boat available for rent as well.

We love to cook, and the kitchen is fully equipped waiting for you. We also have a full coffee service in both the kitchen and kitchenette downstairs. We can also provide access to owners condiments, spices & cooking extras upon request.

The house is three levels: there is one bedroom/one bathroom on the main level, two bedrooms/one bathroom upstairs, and one bedroom/one bathroom downstairs. The downstairs spaces are extra quiet with the bedroom, bathroom, large living room with a futon and a roll-away bed, and a kitchenette. Each bedroom is tastefully appointed with luxury memory-foam mattresses and comfortable bedding.

For our limited mobility guests: There are three stairs up to main entrance, and one can enjoy a pleasant stay on main level (kitchen, living room, deck/patio, bedroom and bathroom).

It is an ideal place for a relaxing retreat, and because of the multiple levels, it works great for a small family reunion. There are great restaurants and outdoor amenities within a 10-20 minute drive. Beautiful Greenville, SC is approximately 40 minutes drive, Tryon Equestrian Center is 25 minutes away, and the mountain city of Asheville, NC with the magnificent Biltmore Estate are approximately an hour north. Quaint Spartanburg, SC is 20 minutes southeast. In this beautiful foothills area, there are numerous waterfalls and hiking trails, and daring tree-tops ropes course, adventure, and a snow tubing lift all within an hours drive.
