Our freestanding, single residence is an quiet, private location and just the place to hunker down and enjoy warm weather and beach living.
This is a bright home with beach decor and amenities to enjoy beach-oriented living. A wraparound back porch allows you to enjoy the forest setting and lagoon. The two bedrooms and one bathroom accommodate up to six people.
The house is located in the Night Heron community, which is just inside the Sea Pines Ocean gate. It is located just a 5 minute walk from a very uncrowded part of the Sea Pines beach. White sand beach extends almost 12 miles along the eastern/southern side of Hilton Head Island.
The Night Heron homes are free-standing and private, nestled in saw palmettos, palms, live oaks festooned with Spanish moss, tall long-needle pines, and surrounded by lagoons. Night Heron includes a community pool and is also located near one of the entrances to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
Sea Pines has 15 miles of wonderful walking and biking trails, as well as access to famous Harbortown, South Beach, and plantation-wide golf amenities. The home is close to many restaurants and attractions both in Sea Pines and nearby Coligny Plaza. This property rents at a reasonable rate.
There are 12 miles of beach on the 'sole' of Hilton Head Island that you can access by a five-minute walk from the front-door. Look for dolphins playing in the waves off-shore (they move up and down the ocean by the island during the day) as well as pelicans, shore birds, and gulls. You can swim and boogie board/skim board. Much of the beach is packed white sand so you can bike on the beach. The access walkway is Number 46, so you can find your way back.
