This custom home is located on nearly five park-like private acres convenient to the area's most prominent landmarks, educational institutions and businesses. Our home is unique and caters to the most discerning travelers who prefer staying in a spacious, newly furnished eclectic 3,700 square foot home to a standard 300 square foot tired hotel offering in need of refurbishment.
The home itself is a hallmark of living freely. Its spacious rooms make the most of the wooded views and natural light that streams in through the large windows, and the expansive 2000 square foot outside deck wrapping around the kitchen and family room offer outdoor living with a view of a natural forest in the spring, summer and fall months. The house is perfect for everyone with larger common areas for small groups to very private nooks and crannies where tasks requiring quiet can easily be completed.
The versatile floor plan makes Strawberry Run an ideal lodging option for the Princeton area. The house has two very large gathering rooms with new furniture, both of which feature large working fireplaces for the cooler months. The "keeping room" off the kitchen is perfect for informal dining, watching television or playing board or electronic games in front of a roaring fire on chilly nights. In the spring, summer and autumn this room is contiguous to a massive 2000 square foot deck embracing the forest in the back. This deck has a grill, outdoor dining area and outdoor seating allowing visitors to sit back and take in nature. The fenced in yard keeps the wild life at bay and offers a safe space for children or you canine companion. The huge casual living room has two large down filled couches and a Steinway B grand piano, a perfect place to relax, watch television, listen to music or play the piano. Also, on the entry level are a more formal dining room with glass doors for privacy which can be used either for dining or as a private conference room and an additional bedroom configured as a reading room with yet another working fireplace.
The second floor features a large primary king bedroom ensuite with a contiguous sitting room including a queen size pull out sofa bed, two bedrooms with a shared bath and a cozy quaint loft at the top of the house with lots of sun. The house comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests. with one king master suite, two queen bedrooms with shared bath, a spacious loft and two queen sofa sleepers with gel mattresses, one located in a private bedroom and the other in the sitting area of the master suite.
