This cabin is a wonderful and awesome escape to enjoy the great outdoors, but please be sure to carefully read this property description top to bottom, as it is not suitable for some folks. Searching for an oasis to get out of the streamline of your daily life? Do you like to tent camp but would like a little more of the comforts of home? Do you love isolation, solitude and relaxation? Privacy abounds at this small camping cabin. Situated on top of a hill all by itself on a 20 acre tract of land surrounded by woods, it boasts of rolling hills, woodlands, and a small pond.Close to the I-75 corridor, only a 7 min. drive from the exit, giving you access to the local events in nearby London, KY. It is only a 5 min. drive away from the Wildcat Adventures Off Road Park. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to lay your head after a fun day of riding the trails, Hilltop is hard to beat.
It is a one room cabin with a 6 X 20 foot covered deck facing east for spectacular sunrise views to admire with that morning cup of coffee.
This is a pet friendly cabin with lots of space to roam, so bring your well behaved and well trained dog and let he or she run off leash. They will love the very large, private field that the cabin is situated on. ($5.00 per day pet fee per pet, limit of two pets)Inside, you will find a full size comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress, plus a bunk bed, counter tops and space to store your camping gear. (See photo section) Outside the cabin is a fire-pit; you may purchase firewood in town, or bring some of your own, picnic table, charcoal grill and beautiful sights and sounds of Gods' creation. There is no inside plumbing such as a kitchen sink, bathroom, shower or toilet, but there is an outhouse just like grandma and grandpa used to have. There is a water spigot (municipal water) right outside your door. We also offer a "Daniel Boone" outdoor shower. (sorry, cold water only, and is seasonal use only; usually between the months of April through October). If you wish to use electricity, please note the following: AS OF MAY 19, 2023, IF YOU WANT ELECTRIC, YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN GENERATOR; OURS WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE. You will need a generator to run the air conditioner in the warmer months of the year. There is a propane wall heater for the cooler months. Please note that the heat source does not use a generator. If there are more than 2 or 3 people in your party you will want to bring sleeping bags, air mattress or cots to spread out on the floor. There is plenty of parking area; you are able to park right next to the cabin for easy unloading. This property is located in a rural area where there are no zoning laws, which includes noises. If you book a weekend stay with us, you may occasionally hear the sounds of ATV's from the Wildcat Adventures offroad park. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel more than 30 days before your reservation you receive a full refund. If you cancel with less than 30 and more than 8 days before your reservation you receive a 50% refund. If you cancel with less than 8 days before your reservation you will not receive any refund.
