Whispering Hollow is a warm, romantic forest retreat tucked among towering pines, mossy boulders, and quiet woodland paths—ideal for a peaceful off-season escape. Settle into the inviting glass room with a glass of wine, soft light, wildlife views, and serene stargazing. Wake to the gentle sound of a nearby spring, enjoy slow mornings with coffee on the patio, and savor the comfort of a slower season. Perfect for couples or families craving warmth, privacy, and reconnection.
We love the neighbors in our woodland retreat! Deer, hawks, owls, pileated woodpeckers, wild hogs, turkeys and bobcats have been sighted on property. We always keep a respectful and quiet space for our nature locals. We are in stages of nature-scaping around the property. Please be kind to our natural spaces and treat is with eco-kindness. We are on septic please do not send grease or personal hygiene products down the drain.
Open concept with an abundance of windows to bring nature to your stay. Our glass room offers tranquility and a birds eye view of, well, the birds and other small woodland creatures. Feel free to roam the land, wander by the creek, look for flowers and ferns. We have a seasonal wildflower garden that is welcome to your own bouquets if you feel so inspired. We ask for you to enjoy our woodland with wonder and respect. Very little light pollution offers a great view of the stars from around the fire pit. We welcome you to our nature retreat and hope you leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.
Master Bedroom:
One queen bed, one twin bed. Enjoy twin as a cozy nook or use for additional sleeping arrangements. Both beds are in the master bedroom.
Bedroom 2: Downstairs, queen bed, off of recreation room. Opens to outdoor patio and backyard.
Bedroom 3: Downstairs, queen bed, off of recreation room.
Half mile rock drive way. There are some bumps. DRIVE SLOWLY. NO motorcycles. LOW DRIVING VEHICHLES not recommended. Some guests prefer having trucks or 4x4. Many guests state that they have no trouble in a standard sedan.
We have large, directional signs pointing to the driveway.
