Beautiful Post & Beam house close to the village of Stowe with views overlooking Mount Mansfield and only 8 miles to Stowe Mountain Resort. Convenient access to highways, trails, skiing, shopping, bowling and the village of Stowe (close to the bypass road to skip the Stowe Mtn traffic!).
The perfect getaway with a home theater, gourmet chefs kitchen, hot tub and large deck. Ideally set up for two families or three couples for a four season vacation - hike, bike, ski or just relax, pet friendly.
The Space:
This beautiful property is just 5 minutes from the center of Stowe but down a pleasant country road away from the hustle and bustle. View the lights twinkling at the Trapp Family Lodge way up on the hillside, from the privacy of your very own outdoor hot tub on the covered portion of the wrap-around deck.
It's a wonderful home for kids and adults with a home theater downstairs, gourmet chef kitchen, opening to dining room and living room with stunning views of Mount Mansfield, sliding doors onto a large wrap-around deck, making this a relaxing home away from home.
Full house access and equipped with use of outdoor grill, gas fireplace, air conditioning, refrigerator, cooking utensils, crock pot, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, dining table seats six with four stools at the counter next to it.
An abundance of comfy sofas, Home Theater, SmartTV, DVD player, foosball table, large DVD collection, Wii, WiFi, internet stereo, sound system, large garage and private driveway.
The upstairs bedrooms have high cathedral ceilings, large custom cedar closets, and en suite bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with views of the mountains and a private quiet reading area with wing backed chairs. The en suite master bathroom has a stand alone whirlpool tub with views.
The guest bedroom has a queen size bed, built in custom cedar closet and a bathroom en-suite.
Downstairs, both bedrooms have two twin beds (can convert to a king) next to home theater.
Note: no bedroom on main level. WiFi speed is 500mbps.
Hotel quality duvets, fresh towels and bed linens provided.
The driveway can get snowy and slippery during the winter weather so a 4WD vehicle would be helpful (not required, but definitely helpful).
This house has central air AC.
We are pet friendly, up to 1 dog (no cats) and with a $75 pet fee.

Getting Around:
Vermont in general has a large percentage of dirt roads and dirt driveways. While we do our best to ensure that the roads and driveways are clear and passable, we cannot guarantee easy access to each property without a proper vehicle that has either AWD or 4WD and is equipped with proper snow tires. Please plan transportation according to the season. Stowe Mountain Resort is about 8 miles from the house. The house is on Rt 100, between the bypass road and the Village of Stowe. The best route to the mountain is to take the bypass road to skip any possible traffic.
