Summary: This is a perfect place for fishing, atv riding and/or boating. It was quiet and quaint. Even though it sleeps 6, it was a little tight with 4 of us during the day though as not a lot of room to sit/move. The 1 TV was very old and didn't work. A window, 1 of 2 fans provided and a shade were also broken. Fabulous communication with extremely nice owners, use of canoes and kayaks steps from the door! Amazing fireworks display by owners right outside the door (though the 2 dogs hated it, we loved it!)Tips/tricks/FYI:Bring: Trash bags, paper towels (they gave 1), toilet paper (just in case, though they gave us 3)Gets very hot at times especially in the single bedroom if the door is shut. There is an AC but in the kitchen only and it was a bit musty smelling but worked enough to help. There is no pool as the listing states. There is the lake steps from the cabin though.Private Charcoal grill (charcoals were on porch) and a shared firepit (bring wood).Regular coffee pot (filters provided, bring coffee).Well water (ok to drink, cook with etc.)The above were questions I had or things I look for when looking at booking or reviews so wanted to write it out this way specifically. All in all it's a nice little cabin for the REAL Maine life. It just wasn't enough to personally keep my family entertained without enough space to be comfortable just hanging out, but that's just us!
