Riverfront ranch home overlooking the beautiful Susquehanna River. Private 400 feet of river front (across road) for picnics, fishing, and kayaking, including a boat launch suitable for small, lightweight watercraft.
Open floor plan with wonderful views of the river and the mountains. Sunroom has large windows on three sides to take in the beauty year-round. This home has three bedrooms and two full baths, large kitchen and dining room with river views, living room that opens to the sunroom.
Amenities include: internet, washer and dryer, geo-thermal A/C and heat, gas fireplace in the living room, automatic standby generator, and a Culligan water system.
The living space is on one floor, with five steps to the entrance. The basement is not part of the rental.
Recreation: The property joins 370 private acres of field and forests that are managed as wildlife habitat. There are paths cut in the fields and trails through the woods to explore. Bicycles are permitted, but no other wheeled vehicles. Kayak and canoe rentals, with shuttle options, are available through the summer and early fall from Endless Mountain Outfitters, one mile away.
Hunting is permitted during the designated large game season only, house renters only. Adult and mentored licensed hunters are welcome. 4-wheelers and side by sides are only permitted during deer and bear seasons and must be operated by an adult. All PA hunting rules and regulations must be followed. Please let us know if you would like to hunt.
