We live in this paradise and are very excited to share our home with you. Our home accommodates up to 16 people (or more with the complete RV hook-up next to the house). This home is a custom, high quality home built with high ceilings and a floor to ceiling rock fireplace inside. You walk right off the deck down to the dock!
Imagine starting your day sipping coffee (or tea) on the deck overlooking the water, listening to the birds sing good morning, and watching the eagles soar overhead. Sometimes we jump on one of our pontoon boats to savor our coffee and let the breath taking sunrise or sunset on the beautiful Pend Oreille nurture our souls. For the adventurous ones in the group, there is jet skiing, mountain biking, roller coasters at Silverwood Amusement Park in the summer or downhill skiing at Schweitzer Mountain or snowmobiling in the winter.
Sandpoint has earned many awards for fun activities and endless beautiful resources (check out Sandpoint's Chamber of Commerce website under 10 amazing places).
However, although every season is filled with different activities to do, one common theme throughout the year is spending time in a home away from home that welcomes you and your loved ones.
WHY OUR HOME?
1. PRIVATE AND CENTRAL LOCATION:
*5 minutes to Sandpoint's boutiques and antiques, restaurants and breweries, gas stations and grocery shopping
*5 minutes to the nearest hill, Gold Hill, to hike or mountain bike
*5 minutes to Sandpoint's paved bike path
*4 minutes by boat to Pend Oreille Lake or Pend Oreille River
*15 minutes to boat to Sandpoint, restaurants, and Trinity City Beach
*10 minutes to the base of Schweitzer Mountain, golf courses, or horseback riding
*20 minutes to Silverwood Amusement and Boulder Beach Water Park
2. WATER:
*A PRIVATE DOCK located in protected waterway where you can SAFELY MOOR YOUR BOAT 100 feet from the house (Many boats on the docks of Lake Pend Oreille have been damaged or even sunk due to bad weather!)
*RENT ONE OF OUR PONTOON BOATS or jet skis hassle free for half the price of rental companies!
*SAFE for young children and adults to swim or canoe in (We provide FREE CANOES for you if you contact us)
*FISH off the dock which is only 100 feet in front of the home.
3. PARKING:
*A large TWO CAR GARAGE
*A large cement driveway
*Room to park off our quiet dead end road
4. RV HOOK-UP-
We have a complete 55 foot high RV hook up next to the house (only $50 a night). If you do not use this, you may park your boat trailer or another vehicle there for free.
5. LUXURIOUS LODGING :
*Experience elegant comfort with shining BRAZILIAN CHERRY WOOD FLOORS throughout the large great room, GRANITE counter tops in the LARGE KITCHEN, and a 10 feet high ceiling
*Enjoy our guest's favorite large oak Connelly POOL TABLE that converts into a dining table large enough for people that can easily sit around it and visit while they eat or play games
*Soak your body, mind and spirit in the HOT TUB off the deck
*Drift off to sleep in one of the 4 bedrooms, which share 2 1/2 bathrooms, and sleeps 16. On the main floor the master suite has one King bed with a large bathroom and another twin in a room off of that. Also, on the main floor is another bedroom, in a secluded area, with two sets of bunk beds, including three twin beds and one full bed. Upstairs in one bedroom, the Alaska Room, are two queen beds and in the other bedroom, The Idaho Room, is another queen bed and one bunk bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom which features a bathtub and shower. (Every bathroom has a HAIR DRYER)
*Smell the bacon sizzling in the spacious and FULLY-APPOINTED KITCHEN where multiple chefs can work freely while enjoying an easy connection to family and friends gathered around the bar or large great room. WE PROVIDE limited paper towels, dishwasher soap, dish soap, and hand soap as well as garbage bags.
*Keep everything clean and use the WASHER AND DRYER downstairs or the set upstairs! We even provide laundry detergent.
*Rest assured you have the capability to quickly access the outside world with our WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET, CABLE, ROKU, and a flat screen TV and DVD player in every bedroom.
*Stay cool in the summer with AIR CONDITIONING or warm in the winter with FORCED AIR HEAT.
*Feel safe with our Security system.
*Enjoy a feast using our Gas BBQ on the covered deck facing the water or sit around the FIRE PIT and roast hot dogs!
*Play a family basketball game outside on the cement drive with our BASKETBALL HOOP.
