This 2 bedroom 1 bath home is a true "log home" nestled on lakefront property of the beautiful Norris Lake. There is a road between the house and the lake however it is only a short walk to the water where you can enjoy the 16 x 20 ft private dock (available during peak season May through September) to swim or tie up your boat. Swim ⚠️ at your own risk. There is a large clearing down to the water that can be used to park an atv, utv, golf cart or other vehicle. The house has an asphalt driveway that will accommodate 4 to 6 cars end to end.
This area of Norris Lake is absolutely beautiful and the fishing is superb! This cabin is your perfect place to get away from it all. Breathe in fresh air and enjoy the magnificent views overlooking Norris Lake from the awesome wrap around deck complete with seating to enjoy watching the water activities and wildlife. The house has two bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other with queen size bed and set of bunk beds twin size, complete with sheets and blankets and a TV, one bathroom with double vanity and tub/shower combo, bath & hand towels, wash clothes, and a kitchen complete with cookware, coffee maker, microwave, dishware, utensils, and basic condiments, washer/dryer, living room with 65” Smart TV with Roku, DVD player with a collection of old movies, and WiFi internet to stay connected. Each bedroom and the living room have ceiling fans and all windows have blinds for increased privacy.
Our cabin is located a quarter of a mile from Flat Hollow Marina and Resort, a full-service marina and restaurant for all your boating and dining needs during your stay. (The restaurant closes for the season In September.)They offer boat rentals, life vests, ski rope & ski’s, tubes, etc. The marina usually has karaoke and/or live bands on Fri & Sat nights during the summer. Need a break from the lake for a day? A day trip to nearby Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Cades Cove Great Smoky Mountain National Park is approximately 1.5 hours away! Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is approximately 45 minutes away with numerous hiking trails and scenic overlooks for you to enjoy.
