Guest Access:

● Self-check-in with keyless entry - Access code will be sent out once the rental agreement is signed. The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation. If not signed within the deadline, your booking will be cancelled.

Getting Around:
Walk, bike, car.
We strongly recommend that you travel in an AWD/4WD vehicle as we are located in the mountains and roads tend to be sloped and can get very icy.
Other Things to Note:
Guests are required to register with Locust Lake Village at least 72 hours prior to check-in. **$35 FEE for late registrations**. This will be charged to the guest if registration is not completed in a timely manner or if the reservation is made less than 3 days before check-in.
COMMUNITY FEE: $5 per vehicle
*Upon arrival at the Administration Office, renter's will receive:
-Dated parking permit for each vehicle which must be displayed on the rearview mirror at all times
-6 badges for the length of the stay to access community amenities (ALL BADGES MUST BE RETURNED TO THE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE UPON DEPARTURE)
-1 gate card for compactor use ($20 deposit upon arrival)

Please note, these are not our fees as the hosts, but fees the community requires all guests to pay to cover the costs associated with operating and maintaining all the great amenities and facilities at Locust Lake Village.
For non-Airbnb reservations ONLY, any eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee & adding the damage waiver fee ($30) is mandatory. This fee will be added to the reservation once confirmed.
FAQ:
How far is the lake?
There are four pristine lakes within the Village; East, Pines, Locust and Pilgrim. Our kayaks are stored in Pines Lake which is a 20 min walk from the house or 4 min drive.
Does the house have AC?
No. We do not have AC but we have fans in most rooms.
Can we use the kayaks?
Yes, definitely. Free of charge.
Can we bring more than 6 guests?
Unfortunately, we are only allowed by the township to accommodate up to 6 guests, infants included.
Is there a fee to use the amenities?
No fees for up to 6 people. There is a vehicle fee of $5 per vehicle. Instructions and the link to complete the registration and fees will be sent after the booking is confirmed.
Can we use the grill?
Yes. We provide the propane tanks, too.
Can we use the fire pit?
Yes. We provide the firewood. However, a burn ban may be in effect by the township and if so, any outdoor fires would not be allowed.
Wander Home requires that all guests have their AirBnB profile 100% verified. Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID.
NOTE: We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: DG Market, Family Dollar and CVS.

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
