Stay a day or stay a week in our beautiful, rustic lake house with nearly all the amenities of home! Central living room with tv and fireplace. Full kitchen with all you need to cook, just bring food! 2 bedrooms, 1 with 2 full size beds and 1 with a queen size bed. We figure 2 people per bed and 1 per couch. There is plenty of additional room to set up air mattresses or cots if you have a bigger group. There is 1.5 bathrooms. We figure 12 people can fit easily but we provide beds for 6. Sit on the covered porch and enjoy the lake view or go jump off one of the 2 docks! Perfect for the whole family!

Summary: This property was nice for a family reunion. Finding it was a bit confusing at first because the house number posted at the start of the driveway was partially blocked by tree branches so some of us had to make a few passes to make sure we were at the right driveway. Driving in, the place has a large parking area. We were able to fit 2 vans, a SUV, and an off roading truck onto the lot with room to spare for several more vehicles. The yard was large and overall pretty leveled from the cabin to the lake. There’s also roughly 100 meters of a very shallow, and sandy shoreline area containing a few easements into the the lake along the bank. This made it easy for the little ones to get into the water, or to launch a kayak/canoe from. The property sits on a stretch of the lake that gives some seclusion at the cabin since the home is flanked by wooded areas, however, you can still see another house across the lake. You can definitely see you’re really not secluded anymore when you are down by the water as there are a bunch of visible homes to the left. Half the time, there was no one around, but the other half of the time, there were many people out on pontoons, kayaks, along with some noisy boats speeding by. The cabin itself was very comfortable and inviting. It was clean upon arrival, and mostly had all the basics one may need for cooking and cleaning. Knives were dull, but we brought our own and other kitchen utensils to use. The water had a sulfer smell with an iron taste, and there were hard water stains in the toilets and shower area. We brought our own water to use, most importantly for cooking and drinking so the conditions of the water was not a big deal. There was a good charcoal grill right out in front of the house with a picnic table, along with a hammock, and fire pit; the fire pit is closer to the lake with firewood available. There’s also a small Jon boat by the bank with wooden oars, life jackets, and a bait bucket underneath it. We fished off of the 2 docks and the fishing was excellent. We mostly caught a bunch of bluegills. The kiddos (ages 4-10) had a blast hauling in one after another with very little effort. The adults caught smaller largemouth bass, perch, rock fish, walleye, and northern pike right off of the docks as well. We also enjoyed the wildlife that came onto the property. Overall, this was a nice place to gather, and we enjoyed our stay here!
