The Neighbourhood
Capitol Hill is one of the largest historical districts in the United States. It originated with boarding houses for Congress and the craftspeople who built the US Capitol, the White House and the Marine Barricks. Today, it continues as one of DC’s most dynamic neighborhoods, with over 30,000 residents. There are multiple parks and playgrounds, and a diverse mix of restaurants, bars and specialty shops, concentrated around Eastern Market, Barricks Row and H Street.
H Street
The apartment is adjacent to H Street. Take a five minute walk to H Street when you arrive, and tour Linden Court Alley, which is on historical DC’s walking tour and today hosts more than 10 photo-worthy murals celebrating Washington, DC and its residents.
