Summary: The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome, even walking us to our room. We got there early and they gave us a towel and beach badge to use while we waited until check in. They did not have to do this.
The building is dated, and our bathroom was clean but in rough shape. The shower is tiny and it's hard to fit in there (I am average build). But we were not in the room for long, so this did not matter to us.
Avoid Room #12. It is over the kitchen and there is noise/music/pots and pans clanging until ~10 PM.
The front desk woman made out a list of things to do locally when we had bad weather and couldn't use the beach. The staff really made the stay pleasant and we will come again because of this, just in a different room.

Summary: The Grant Victorian has everything you need to have a wonderful stay! It is in an amazing location that is walkable. Bikes are available to ride as well as a golf cart service.
Spring lake is beautiful and pristine.
