You will have access to the entire basement floor which includes a private living room, full bathroom, and bedroom. The only access into the house is through the main entrance on the 1st floor but the main floor is otherwise off limits to Airbnb guests.
The house is located across the street from a park with 2 softball fields, a public pool and a playground. There is usually plenty of street parking available unless you arrive during a sporting event in which case, you’ll have to parallel park.
The space
Upon entering the house, you will walk through the main living room and kitchen in order to get to your private floor which is downstairs. Although you will have to walk through these areas, I ask that you do not use them. This space is only for the tenants.
LIVING ROOM :
Smart TV (you’ll need your own accounts), Mini fridge, Water filter, Couch (this is NOT a pull-out)
• The downstairs living room does not have a privacy door from the stairs to the lower level (you can see the setup from the pictures included). Although there is no door, the lower level is still very private and secluded.
BATHROOM :
Full, private bath with a shower tub
• Because the bathroom is located under ground, there is a sump pump which can make a startling noise when flushing (or showering) if you are not familiar with these pumps. No need to worry, the sound is a good thing!
DO NOT flush ANYTHING down the toilet except for toilet paper 🗣 This includes “flushable” wipes.
IT’S VERYYY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THIS RULE or the sub pump will flood the basement with fecal matter and trust me, it’s not pleasant.
BEDROOM :
Private bedroom with a lock (from the inside only), Queen sized mattress, Nightstand with USB charging lamp.
The furnace is located in this room which means it can get quite hot down here with the door closed and the heat turned up.
• Both the bedroom and the living room have emergency exit egress windows in the event that you need to get out of the house without going upstairs. These windows should only be used in the event of an emergency.
Guest access
You have access to the entire basement floor of the house.
Access is not permitted upstairs unless otherwise noted. The kitchen is completely off limits and is reserved solely for tenants.
Washer and dryer are only available for extended stay guests.
Other things to note
This space is in the basement and therefore there are sometimes unavoidable insects. Be careful with food.
DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING DOWN THE TOILET.
There are 2 security cameras outside for your peace of mind. One camera is the doorbell itself, and the other camera faces the street.
This is a 4 bedroom house and there will be other guests/tenants throughout your stay.
The kitchen (and other areas of the house) is off-limits. Washer and dryer is only for extended-stay guests.
