It is recommended that you have a 4 Wheel Drive vehicle in the winter months from December to March. The property is on a dirt road, and while the roads are plowed/scraped often - there is a potential for icy road conditions.

Free parking on-site, can likely fit 3 or 4 cars. Trail access to the Appalachian Trail is less than a mile from the property. Wolf Ridge ski resort is less than a mile away. Wolf Laurel Amenities, stocked Trout Pond, Tennis & Pickle Ball Courts, and Clubhouse with Library and weekly events less than a mile away. Ask your host about weekly activities during the time of your stay. Bucktown Stables with 1 & 2-hour trail rides available - Ask your host about scheduling.

• 4WD/AWD Required in Winter - During the winter months and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is required to access this property. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended. For the extra effort, however, you are rewarded with seclusion, beauty, and a lot of fun just getting there!

The Mountain Chalet is located in a quiet neighborhood with a very low noise tolerance. A noise ordinance is in effect between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m and a noise level monitor is in use in the home.
