ROMANTIC GETAWAY or BEST FRIENDS RETREAT Serenity by the Sea is a nautical and serene getaway privately nestled above the main floor of the house with a separate guest entry. This cozy getaway with bountiful views south to Burrows Bay and the Olympic Mountain and North to Guemes Channel and the Ship Harbor Ferry Landing. This 900sf unit boasts a light filled full kitchen, dining area, living room , bedroom, large bathroom .... light light light everywhere.
Serenity by the Sea sleeps two (2) people max either in the queen bed bedroom/bath or if you will be using as your friends retreat - the reading nook is the size of a twin bed 70inches long and 36inches wide with a comfy pad that transforms into a bed.
OCEAN VIEWS Ocean views abound from this second story guest quarter. The kitchen and dining areas have views of Burrow's Island/Bay, Allan Island and Skyline Marina while the bedroom has a beautiful view of Guemes Channel with the San Juan Ferry arriving and departing from the Ship Harbor.
WALK TO THE FERRY We are within walking distance to the San Juan Ferry Terminal on a nice day, three (3) miles from historic downtown Anacortes, one (1) mile from Washington Park and Skyline Marina. Ask us for the short cuts and easiest safest walks to and from the Ferry.
GOLF Outdoors we have a professional Synturf putting green for the avid golfer. Very fun for putting practice. Bring your putting games to challenge each other!
GREAT LOCATION Our location is perfect for visiting surrounding areas of La Conner (17 miles), Oak Harbor (23 miles), Mount Vernon (20 miles), Whidbey Island (56 miles), Deception Pass (13 miles), Coupeville (33 miles) and of course the beautiful San Juan Islands. Anacortes is known as the gateway to the San Juans - Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor, Shaw Island, Orcas Island and Lopez Island. Bellingham is about 20 minutes up I-5. Bring your passport for Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada - it's an easy drive or you can make a same day trip with a Washington Ferry once they ramp up running 2 ferries to Canada - usually in June of each year.
