The Space:
Silverwood Retreat is the perfect getaway to disconnect with family, friends or small group. We've provided the fun in this 2 bedroom cabin - cornhole, volleyball, soccer balls, horseshoes, and many more! You'll have private access to Sleepy Creek, just a quick 10 min walk from the cabin. It's a shallow creek most of the year, but great for cooling off in the summer and for the kids to hunt frogs and crawfish.
The cabin includes:
- Queen bed in the downstairs bedroom
- Sleeping area in the loft with a queen/twin bunk bed and another 2 twin beds
- Pull-out sofa in the living room, and it’s quite comfortable!
- Fully-stocked kitchen with stove/oven and microwave
- Smart TV where you can quickly sign-in to your favorite streaming service
- WiFi that's fast enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- AC and electric heat to keep you perfectly comfortable, no matter the weather

Please note: our well water has a strong sulfur smell, similar to rotten eggs, caused by high concentrations of manganese in the soil. It's very common in this area. We've had the water tested, and it's perfectly safe for drinking, cooking, and bathing. That said, you likely won't like the taste for drinking -- so we recommend bringing bottledwater.

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are -- particularly Great Cacapon State Park and Berkeley Springs. The park is free to enter and has miles of hiking trails, a beach and small lake, golf course, horse stables, and a clay shooting range. And the town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US; the shopping, spa, and restaurant scene does not disappoint.
