The facility at "The Springs", besides the Olympic size pool and gym, include a clay studio and a dedicated area for drawing and painting. There is also a very active photography club at "The Springs" with computers, editing software, classes, and equipment for matting and framing. Golf is also quite popular with 7 courses just a short drive from "The Springs".
Short day trips include the Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park Titan Missile Museum, Pima Air Museum, Tubac Art community, Tumacacori National Histoical Park, Madera Canyon, Colossal Cave, and Kartchner Caverns State Park.
