Cherished by our family since 1986, Camp Crocker has been a place for generations to gather, spend time on the water, and create lasting memories. The home combines the nostalgic character of a traditional Maine camp with comfortable modern conveniences.
The Space
Enjoy peaceful lake views and the sound of loons from three bedroom porches, or start the morning with coffee on the dock.
The home has three bedrooms with one queen bed, one full bed, and two double beds. Each bedroom opens onto its own porch. There are also two full bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, cookware, a crockpot, blender, and coffee station. Guests can dine indoors, cook on the outdoor grill, or enjoy meals at the picnic table overlooking the waterfront lawn.
The living and dining area opens into an enclosed porch overlooking the lake. It is a comfortable place to read, play board games, visit with family and friends, or relax after a day outside. A small smart TV is available for streaming, although Camp Crocker is best enjoyed by spending time outdoors and together.
The spacious private lawn extends along the property’s 200 feet of shoreline and leads to the lakeside firepit and L-shaped dock. Guests can swim and fish from the property or explore the lake using the provided kayaks, canoe, two paddleboards, paddles, and life jackets. Lawn games and Adirondack chairs are also available.
The dock has space on both sides for a boat or jet ski, depending on the size and draft of the watercraft and seasonal lake levels.

Cochnewagon Lake offers a quieter alternative to many of Maine’s larger lakes. It is often lightly traveled during the week and remains pleasantly peaceful on many weekends. Guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, paddling, boating, or simply relaxing by the water.
The public boat launch is about half a mile from the home and approximately a four-minute drive. The property has room for trailers up to 40 feet, along with additional parking for guest vehicles.

The home is one story once inside, but the main entrance and all exterior access points require stairs. The garage is reserved as an owner lockout and is not available to guests.
Parking is available for guest vehicles and a boat trailer up to 40 feet.
