Our home boasts two first floor private bedrooms; one with a queen bed and the other with a full - both bedrooms have a TV and cable. The open loft on the second floor has 4 single beds - allowing the house to sleep 8 adults comfortably. The open concept living, dining, and kitchen allow plenty of space for your family or a friends get away.
The house is equipped with an automatic whole house generator, so power outages aren't a problem! Each room has their own thermostat, for heat or AC, making the house truly peaceful inside and out.
In the living room you will find a large sectional that will fit everyone. If you are ready to relax, the Roku smart TV and 5G Wifi will allow you to stream any of your shows or find a movie to watch. There are games, card games, and kids books for your enjoyment. Utilize the oversize coffee table, or the dining table has seating for 6. Or play a game of your darts with your friends.
The fully stocked kitchen is ready for all your cooking needs. We have your basics; full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave. And the conveniences of a Keurig (no multi cup coffee maker), tea pot, spices, tableware, grilling utensils, and cookware. If you prefer to cook outside, we have you covered! On the back deck, right outside the dining room, is a full size grill and Blackstone griddle, you can feed an army with these.
The bathroom is stocked with fluffy towels and a walk in shower. With the new water heater, you can enjoy a nice hot relaxing shower.
The Carrabasset River is just a stones throw a way. Relax on the back porch with your morning coffee and listen to the river. In the large private yard there is firewood for the fire pit, or plenty of room to play yard games. The front of the house is very private, facing the trees on the dead end road. We are the last house, with no neighbors in view - this allows for plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. At the driveway is a 30amp plug for your electric vehicle (EV).
In the winter bring your snowmobile and hit the trails near by or enjoy skiing at Sugarloaf mountain which is about 15 minutes away. Located in front of the heater in the dining area, is plenty of storage for your gear. In the warmer months there are tons of trails, rivers & lakes for fishing, hiking, kayaking, ATV's, and more. Reed Brook Trail is an easy hike only a few minutes up 27, with a gorgeous waterfall at the end. While an ATV trail is right out the front door.
No matter the season, Kingsridge Retreat has what you need and Kingfield is a great central hub for all outdoor activities.
