Charming A-frame cabin nestled in Michaux State Forest. Enjoy the sounds of Mountain Creek from the comfort of the deck or relax on the bench by the water's edge. The cabin offers comfortable accommodations with 3 queen beds and a full bathroom. For those seeking adventure, the cabin is close to the 1/2 way point of the Appalachian Trail. Several lakes are within a few miles for swimming and fishing. We are a beautiful, easy 20 minute drive to Gettysburg. Unwind around the fire at day's end.The spaceIf you like nature and privacy, you'll love this A-Frame. Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful surroundings are a few adjectives routinely used to describe the cabin.Although we have only recently put this property on Airbnb, check out our numerous 5-star reviews on our social media pages.Relax on the bench by Mountain Creek at the end of our property or curl up with a good book on the hammock. At the end of the day roast some marshmallows in the large fire pit area out back. If you desire eating meals on property we offer a Blackstone griddle on the large backyard deck, and plenty of seating at the table.Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Caledonia State Park and a few miles to the halfway point of the Appalachian Trail. Loads of hiking, mountain biking, ATV and snow mobile trails. About a 20 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 30 minutes to Carlisle.Ski Liberty Mountain in Fairfield is about a 30 minute drive and Ski Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry is a 50 minute drive.3 Queen Size Beds - Cozy Earth Bamboo Sheets & Cotton Sheets by Threshold.*The downstairs bedroom does not have a door to close or a curtain. It sits behind the staircase (see pictures)*Upstairs bedrooms - there is a door at the top of the steep staircase and a door between the rooms. To access the back bedroom guest must walk through the bedroom in the front.*Due to the steep staircase we do not accept guests younger than 12 years of age.Full bathroom with shower (no tub)Guest accessThe entire property is yours to use while you're staying here. Enjoy s'mores around the campfire, relax in the hammock or hang out on the bench down by Mountain Creek at the end of our property.
