Hard wood floors, vaulted ceilings, screened porch, covered parking. Located in historic downtown Darien. Quiet location. Secluded backyard shaded by live oaks and a screened porch perfect for morning coffee or afternoon beverages. Full kitchen and cozy living area. Close to Fort King George. Darien is centrally located along the coast making any destination along the Georgia coast an easy day trip. Beaches of Jekyll and Saint Simons Islands, remote barrier islands, Savannah, Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge, Sapelo Island, the Okefenokee and the Altamaha River are just some of many places of interest. Because we have our own shrimp fleet restaurants in and around Darien serve the freshest seafood on the coast.

Sapelo Island makes for a wonderful day trip, but you must plan ahead for the tour and ferry trip. Don't miss Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge. Harris Neck NWR provides premier nesting, foraging, and wintering habitat for a diversity of wildlife. Signature species include threatened wood storks, which nest in a large colony on Woody Pond, and the colorful and uncommon painted bunting. Immerse yourself in a world where flowers bloom in every season, birds and butterflies abound and enjoy the small coastal town interests and environment.
