This custom built log home sits on 100+acres of private family owned mountain forest at an elevation of 2000 feet. You will have the ultimate in privacy while still enjoying fantastic mountain views from the spectacular sun deck. This is not generally a rental home as we frequently spend time here both winter and summer. The home will have a warm 'lived in' feeling that reflects what a vacation home is. A recently built barn can be utilized for outdoor summer events. (Inquire for rates etc)
The home is 6mi from Tannersville with many shops and restaurants. Make sure to stop by the Last Chance Cheese Shop Restaurant for a great meal in a cozy atmosphere. Hunter Mtn is 9 Miles away. Here you will find skiing, tubing, festivals, hiking, biking etc. For avid hikers the Devil's Path Hiking trail access points are within one mile from the house.
The home is well furnished and has beds for 10 people. Futon in downstairs TV room allows for two more people. We prefer to limit the number of people to 10 but 12 is possible by utilizing the futon in the basement living area. Full kitchen with plenty of dishes, silverware, and cooking implements, will make for a comfortable stay for those who like to stay in and cook your own meals.
The house is warm, with a wood burning stove for those cold nights and radiant floor heating in the great room and kitchen and 1st floor bathroom. There are 2 full bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. Bedrooms consist of 2 King, 2 full, 1 with two twins. There is also a futon in the basement TV area.
There is a full basement with a large couch for watching TV, air hockey and a utility room with washer and dryer.
