Enjoy a reprieve from the busyness of life and step into the restful atmosphere of our 500 acre working horse and hobby farm. Our modern 20' Airstream Safari is an off-grid RV that cozily sleeps 1-3 guests. It is set in a wooded private cove with a fire pit and plenty of hammocking options and an open, pastoral view to the front. It's complete with a full size bed, shower/toilet combo, kitchenette, and study space, with fun, fresh decor. It is the perfect way to "almost rough it"!
The space
The Airstream Safari is a fun, fresh space that includes a dining table (can be made into a small bed as well), toilet and shower combo, small refrigerator, heating and air, and an outside picnic area. It is run off-grid via solar and a generator, which guests are shown how to operate. This little RV is the perfect way to "get away from it all", and yet still be within 5 minute access to fine dining and town.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the farm as we do: hiking the forest and field trails and splashing in the Little Wolftever creek; meandering down to the barns and interacting with the farm animals; scheduling a relaxing horseback trail ride; enjoying some of our delicious farm products (the ice cream is the best!), joining us for chores in the morning and/or evening or in the late morning milking; or just sitting by fire (we provide all the firewood you need) and enjoying the slower pace.
Other things to note
PET OWNERS: Please note that many of our smaller farm animals free range during the day, including two farm dogs. These dogs are herd animals, and while generally friendly, they are protective of "their" farm and will assert dominance to strange animals and people. Please keep your pets leashed at all times, and we recommend that you don't take them to the barn area or to milking at the the private residence.
TRAIL RIDES: If you would like to schedule a guided trail ride during your stay, please contact Hidden Hills Farm & Saddle Club' main farm number. We have limited ride times, so it's advisable to schedule in advance of your stay. Please note the following limitations:
1. Trail rides are scheduled Sunday-Friday; the barns are closed on Saturdays.
2. We offer rides for ages 10 and up and for riders 230 lbs and less. Younger riders can take "fun lessons" at the barn, which include fun riding games and a mini trail ride.
