Skeletons in the Closet

You decide to use your Ouija board to try and communicate with Winter's mother from beyond. Despite having used it countless times before, this session seems a bit different. Soon, you foster an affinity to the spirit. It gives you details about a house near your neighborhood— where a gruesome crime had happened three years prior.

The planchette spells out vivid images in your mind that you strongly feel the urge to get up in the dead of the night and visit the haunted house.

As you walk the dark streets of Portland, you start crying in pain and guilt. Images of abuse and cruelty run through your mind. Dark pictures that have somehow become puzzle pieces had finally completed a broken frame of questions that were left unanswered for years.

As you enter the house, you go upstairs into a bedroom. You slowly open a closet and find the skeletal remains of Winter's mom— hiding for three years in the fear of being caught for murdering her own daughter.
