Takoda Cabin is a beautifully appointed 3 bedroom/2 full bath cabin in a small gated community right by Fall Creek Falls State Park. Takoda in Indian meaning "friendly to everyone" will definitely make you want to stay forever! Everything in this cabin is cozy, comfortable with lots of cabin appeal. The A frame structure allows you beautiful views from the living room while the back deck allows you all the privacy you want. There is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom located on the upper level along with a loft area equipped with a double futon. On the main floor there are two guest rooms with a full bath. Also, for our guests use, there is a full size washer and dryer. The very spacious kitchen has lots of amenities for you to prepare all your meals. A gas grill on the back deck is also available and gas is provided. Enjoy roasting marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit. There is also a garage for our guests use. Be sure to get out and enjoy our beautiful surroundings like our (3) stocked ponds to fish in and our beautiful horses that love to be petted and fed. Our wide open spaces allow you enjoyable walks, play games in the green space and see all of the beautiful wildlife that play in our area. For swimming and cooling off in the hot summer, be sure to go to Falls Creek Falls State Park where they have an Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Open 10am-5:30pm June/July Daily – August Weekends Only - $6 pp, per day; children 2 and under free. Free Swimming Holes and the waterfalls are excellent places to cool off and enjoy the beautiful scenery as well. Takoda Cabin is centrally located in Spencer Tennessee. This beautiful area is great for day trips to Nashville (113 miles), Knoxville (102 miles) it Chattanooga (72 miles). There are also many state parks, waterfalls and natural areas to enjoy during your stay.
